PRESENTER: Kathryn Kern, PhD, ACM-CEP; Medical College of Wisconsin & MS-Just Keep Moving, Inc.
BRIEF SUMMARY
Clinical exercise physiologists can be limited in populations and settings they practice in. However, there are great opportunities for CEPs to expand their reach into other job sectors, such as non-profit. This webinar features a CEP’s role in a community-based, non-profit setting. Creativity, networking, entrepreneurship, and passion for what you do are vital for this line of work. Kate Kern will outline strategies for implementation and programmatic design. Additionally, perspectives for neuro-rehabilitation will be highlighted, specifically for people living with Multiple Sclerosis, which can be applied to other populations.
