About the Presenter
I have been working in the field of electrophysiology (EP) for the past 18 years after completing my Master’s in Exercise Physiology from Syracuse University. I have experience in the EP Lab as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist where I was involved in electrophysiology procedures for five years. Then in 2007 I was hired by Biosense Webster as a Clinical Account Specialist. Over the past 10 years I held several roles with Biosense that involved 3D Mapping on the Carto System, launching new products, and international education. I was responsible for the launch of the Carto SmartTouch Catheter to the Central US. This catheter was the first to the market to give the physician real-time contact force readings while ablating. In January, I accepted my new role as a Clinical Education Trainer with the UTHealth EP Heart Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Training Program.
